With a career spanning 4 decades, Michael Giambra is one of Western New York's leading hair dressers. Unmatched customer service and ongoing education is his commitment to his salon, team, and his clients. As a master hairdresser, he is devoted to ready-to-wear styles using evolving haircutting techniques and the best products in the industry.
Michael's belief in ongoing education has led him to training in the World's Top Hairdressing Academies from New York to London. He spends countless hours with the industry's most talented and influential stylists and educators perfecting his craft. Throughout his career, Michael has been involved in building 5 successful hair salons and 2 NYS Cosmetology Schools.
For Michael, it's all about beautiful hair and amazing relationships. Making the world beautiful one person at a time!

As co-owner of Michael the Salon, my passion for the beauty business began over 20 years ago, Through the years I specialized in advanced haircutting and coloring techniques tailored to each client's unique style. Working side by side with my husband, Michael, building the salon of our dreams has been incredibly fulfilling. While my recent battle with Ocular Melanoma has forced me to hang up my scissors, it has given me the opportunity to focus on growing our staff, perfecting our salon, and doing what we do best: Working as a Team!

During high school I knew that a career in Hair and Make-up is where I would be successful. I have been fortunate enough to evolve and grow in the salon industry since 2002.
During the past 20 years, I also spent 3 years as a NYS Cosmetology Instructor. I was able to mentor students just beginning to learn how to hold a pair of shears all the way through passing their State Board Exams.
Now, in the salon, I always try to make sure that every client has a fun experience and leaves feeling their absolute best! There is nothing like the close knit family feel at Michael the Salon!

I have been working in the salon since I was 17 years old. After serving as an apprentice to many talented stylists, I knew my future was behind the chair. I love furthering my education, learning from my co-workers, attending hair shows and finding advanced classes to share.
Now that I have been doing hair professionally, I realize how rewarding it is to know each and every client. Understanding each personality and lifestyle helps to create an individual look so unique that every person can leave feeling beautiful!

My career began 22 years ago as Michael's assistant when I was just 17 years old! He has inspired me and helped me grow into the stylist I am today.
I specialize in haircutting for both men and women and have spent years perfecting my craft. My goal is to help clients achieve a style that will work with both their hair texture and face shape. I also love working with children's hair. My daughter, Kenzie, who is 11, and my son Christopher,9, are my inspiration and volunteer to be models to work on the newest trends.

I am beyond excited to start my journey as a stylist at Michael the Salon! With a background in Fashion Merchandising and a passion for beauty, it was only natural that I would eventually be drawn to the Cosmetology industry. My passion for hair grows every day, and the ever-changing trends make the industry all the more inspiring. As a new stylist, I strive to challenge myself and continue to grow by absorbing as much knowledge and education from fellow stylists as well as outside beauty professionals. I value taking time with each client, and customizing each color and/or cut to suit their overall personal appearance and lifestyle!

After graduating from Cosmetology School, I started working at Michael the Salon and decided to return to school to earn my esthetics license. Now I am duel certified as a Cosmetologist and an Esthetician! I have a passion for skincare, makeup, and helping you look and feel your best! Now, with our amazing partnership with Savor Beauty, we have a full range of skincare services that will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and glowing inside and out!
